I took online web design courses through Penn Foster in 2008 and 2010. These courses covered mostly the design aspect of this field and provided a great way for me to “get my feet wet.” However, I hadn’t even graduated the courses before I was already learning programming languages on my own and I haven’t stopped learning since. I can honestly say that one of my favorite things about the field of website design and development is the opportunity and (more or less) necessity to constantly learn and figure out newer, faster, more efficient and more practical ways of doing things.
