I started freelancing when I was in college as a way to start building my portfolio. The first website I ever designed was hosted at a local hosting company called Echo Hosting. Since working with Scott and Elaine at Echo Hosting on that very first site, I have been fortunate to work with them on many other projects over the years as they often refer their hosting clients to me for web design and development work. I host all of my own sites at Echo Hosting and often refer my clients to them because you simply can’t beat a local company who offers competitive pricing AND outstanding customer service :)

In 2010, a local web design company began outsourcing programming work to me on a project-by-project basis. Since then I have started working with several web design and development companies around the U.S. as a contract programmer, and these are some of my favorite projects to work on.

I have never advertised my business, all of my clients come to me through referrals and I plan to keep it that way. I honestly believe the very best advertisement for any business is its own product – and I live that out by focusing on providing my clients with the best possible service I can and letting my satisfied clients and the sites I build “sell” my services for me rather than paying for advertising.
